Because of the obvious mistreatment of animals in slaughter houses the thought has come up that it might be better just to make the animals feel less pain as a way of make the process more human. The idea would be to genetically modify the animal so that it would no longer be able to feel pain, this way chickens would not have to go through the torcher of having there beaks cut off with out antithetic, and cows and pigs would have some relief from the pain of every day life.
To me this is not the way to fix a problem, if you always just smooth over a problem rather than trying to find the origin of the issue and resolving from the beginning. We need to make the living conditions better before we try and change the vary structure of an animal.

1. A.B. Butler, he was convicted of rape and kidnapping.
2. Eyewitness Misidentification.
3. He served in prison for 16 years.
4. Seaman testing.
5. There were many different progressions in DNA testing "In the early 1900s, the first attempts of genetic  testing were made with the advent of blood typing. Quickly thereafter, techniques with higher powers of exclusion were adopted through serological and HLA tests. It was only in the 1980s that scientists began using DNA characteristics as evidence of biological relationships." ~DNA Junction.
6. This story has decreased my trust in the justice system of the past 20 years, but i feel much more safe in the current system. I feel that science has made me feel reassured that there IS a way to find the truth.

first post

This story is about Lucy the chimp, it involves Jane Goodall and her husband. this story is about any experiment done to find how human chimps could be.

Lucy was human in the fact that she made up her own words and ideas for new experiences, she enjoyed human food and even grew to be attracted to human mails. The transition was in some ways hard but she adapted so well that the change of life style was veary brief. In the long run she was so much stronger than humans she had to be kept in a cage.

Some of the things we can learn from Lucy is that we are not so different from animals as we think, also often it is better to leave most animals in there own habitat and not try and introduce them into our lives. what a small difference there is between our selves and animals, i will probably sympathies with animal lovers more now.
